Dr. Kristin Wilson has seventeen years of Small Animal clinical experience in Michigan. Dr. Wilson, prior to becoming the owner of Arbor Hills Animal Clinic, worked as an Associate in a twenty-four hour routine and emergency medicine clinic in Brighton, Michigan.
Dr. Wilson purchased Arbor Hills Animal Clinic in 2015 and continues to operate the clinic as a family business. It is important to her that the clients at Arbor Hills are always treated like family.
When not at the clinic, Dr. Wilson enjoys spending time with her husband Mark and her three children Andrew, Emily and Hannah. The Wilson’s also have four four-legged family members as well. Piper (Golden Retriever), Nico (King Charles Cavalier), Hazel (King Charles Cavalier) and Dorothy (Cat) also bring great joy to the family.
Dr. Wilson also enjoys reading a great book, family vacations, scrapbooking and playing with the kids.
Dr. Linda Sell has thirty-four years of Small Animal clinic experience in Southeastern Michigan and the Ann Arbor area. She has a special interest in animal behavior and training. Her home is inhabited by a constantly changing number of wild and crazy dogs, and one very patient, calm cat. Dr. Sell, and her dogs, like to participate in dog training and athletic events. While their first love is competitive flyball, they also enjoy obedience, tracking, agility, and herding. While not working at Arbor Hills, Dr. Sell teaches dog training at the Ann Arbor Dog Training Club, concentrating on beginner level household training.
Dr Sell also enjoys spending time with extended family, making crafts and working on her home.
Mark Wilson is the business manager at Arbor Hills Animal Clinic. Mark has spent the majority of his adult life as a public school administrator. In addition, Mark has worked as a self-employed insurance agent. Mark is ultimately responsible for making sure the Arbor Hills team has everything they need to assure your family a positive experience. As Dr. Wilson’s husband, he too enjoys time with the children and pets.
In Mark’s free time, he enjoys playing soccer with the kids, taking family vacations, and hanging out near a pool.
Kristen Shelle (Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant) has worked at Arbor Hills Animal Clinic for over fifteen years. During that time, Kristen attended college at Bowling Green State University and Washtenaw Community College. Each and every day, Kristen puts the clients at Arbor Hills as her top priority. In addition to caring for our wonderful patients, Kristen enjoys making music, spending time in nature, and being with her family.
Michelle Chambers (Licensed Veterinary Technician) joined the Arbor Hills team in 2015. Michelle graduated with an AS in Veterinary Technology from Pima Medical Institute in Tucson, AZ. Upon graduating, she completed her National and State board exams to become certified in the state of Arizona. After relocating to Ann Arbor in 2014, she took the Michigan state board exam and is currently licensed in Michigan as well. Michelle has worked in large emergency hospitals and small private practices in both Tucson and Ann Arbor. While large hospitals are exciting and provide ample opportunity for learning, she prefers small clinics where she can get to know the clients and patients.
Michelle and her husband Tim have two dogs, Cedric and Tycho. When the weather is good, they spend time gardening, kayaking, exploring, and generally enjoying living in Ann Arbor. When outside activities are impractical, they enjoy computer and tabletop games, comics, and other nerdy pursuits.
Karen Williams (Veterinary Technician) has always had an interest and passion for animals. She began working in the Veterinary field in 1998 at a 24 hour emergency clinic. In December of 2015 she joined the team of Arbor Hills Animal Clinic. She is thoroughly enjoying the switch to a day practice where she is getting to know new clients and their pets. She lives with her husband Curtis in Hartland and has two grown children. Her fur family consists of three Boston Terriers, Louis, McKenzee and Lucy. She also has two grand-dogs: Denver and Ziggy Stardust. Her interests include reading, mountain biking, kayaking, camping, snowmobiling and of course spending time with her family.
Jamie Plotner (Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant) is a high school graduate currently working toward a college degree. Prior to joining the Arbor Hills team, in 2016, Jamie worked at and managed a boarding and grooming facility for 4 years. Jamie really enjoys being around all types of animals and always has! She grew up in Tennessee with beagles, dachshunds, chickens, turkeys and other various critters. She currently has the privilege of sharing her life with 3 spoiled dogs, 1 mischievous kitty, 2 quiet tortoises, 1 very dramatic cockatoo and a husband that is happy to love them all! On her days off you can find her hiking, disc golfing, in a silks class, sleeping, or drinking an IPA at a local brewery.
Bagheera joined the Arbor Hills team in April of 2016 when she was surrendered by her owner because of her health problems. Thanks to the team, Bagheera is much better and has assumed her position as official greeter of Arbor Hills. Bagheera’s self assigned duties include greeting patients, forcibly requesting attention from humans, napping on warm chairs and entertaining all creatures. Bagheera has no formal education in these areas and is proud to say that she is “self-taught.” Her future plans include more napping, petting and greeting.
Bagheera is not currently returning messages. Please message a human 😉
